FAQ/INFO ABOUT TOUR Cape Town has one of the most beautiful locations to see the sunset from the sea. Fabulous Table Mountain and the Atlantic Seaboard spread out in front of you while the sun dips into the sea. This cruise includes complimentary sparkling wine. The Sail boats SPIRIT OF VICTORIA and ESPERANCE follow the wind for this cruise. Typically they motor out of the Harbour and sail across the bay towards Milnerton lighthouse, then return to the protection the Sea point Coastline to watch the sun set, returning to the harbour with spectacular views on the city lights. The Motor Vessels’ CONDOR, SEA PRINCESS and SOUTHERN CROSS follow a different route to the sail boats. They follow the coastline and normally cruise slowly along the Atlantic seaboard towards Clifton beach before returning.

We operate a little beyond the edge of the southern African coastline and are primarily a water-based adventure operator, marketing white shark cage diving and viewing off the Gansbaai coast at Dyer Island. We also market sailing and motor boat cruises from the Waterfront in Cape Town, Hout Bay Harbour and Langebaan Lagoon on South Africa's West Coast. We offer a range of activities in Cape Town and its surrounding areas as well as selected itineraries for tours in the city centre, along the Garden Route and up the West Coast. Our well developed gap-year products include volunteer programmes with the white shark cage diving and viewing company, White Shark Projects. There are also one and 17-week sailing programmes with the Waterfront Boat Company and Ocean Star Sailing Academy. African Edge Adventures is a Cape Town-based, inbound operator.
