Day 00: Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport (KIA/JRO) or Dar es salaam Mwalimu Nyerere Intl. Airport and transfer to Moshi/Arusha/Dar es salaam at the Tourist 3* or 4* or 5* Hotel.
Interested Travelers can join group in any part of the overland truck safari. This Tanzania safari trip starts with Northern Circuit ( Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro e.t.c) and proceed with Southern Circuit (Selous, Ruaha, Mikumi e.t.c). The trip can start either from Dar es salaam or Moshi/Arusha and Tourist can join in any part or Vice versa.

NIGHTS: LAKE MANYARA/LAKE NATRON/OLDUVAI GORGE/SERENGETI/NGORONGORO/LAKE EYASI/TARANGIRE/CULTURAL TOURISM/SELOUS, MIKUMI, RUAHA, UDZUNGWA, DAR ES SALAAM
Day 01: After breakfast, with picnic lunch, drive to Lake Manyara via Maasai village. The Park derives its name from the Maasai word'manyara,' which is the name for the plant Euphorbia tirucalli. The Maasai use this plant to grow livestock stockades. Eventually manyara will produce a stockproof hedge which is more durable than any made of cut thorn branches. There is a specimen of Euphorbia tirucalli at the entrance gate. The Great Rift Valley is part of a fault in the earth's crust which stretches 8,000 kilometers (4,971 miles) from Turkey to the mouth of the Zambezi River in Mozambique. The fault is so massive that when astronauts landed on the moon the Rift Valley was clearly visible to them. In the Manyara area there is no eastern wall to the Rift Valley as there is in Kenya. Here the flattish country falls very gently into a depression, while in Kenya the valley has walls to both east and west. The types of vegetation which occur in the Park are related to the geology of the area. The northern part of the Park, nearest the entrance, is composed mainly of volcanic rock which, being porous, allows many streams of clear water to flow out of the base of the rift wall. Further south, around Msasa River, the volcanic rock gives way to ancient crystalline rock, which is hard and non-porous allowing fewer springs and streams to emerge. Those that do — the Ndala, Bagayo and Endabash — cascade down the entire face of the wall when flowing. Despite the fact Lake Manyara National Park is only 330 square kilometers (127 square miles) in area — of which about 230 square kilometers (89 square miles) are lake — it contains a large variety of habitats: the rift wall, the ground water forest, acacia woodland, areas of open grassland, the lake shore, swamp and the lake itself. Due to the variety of habitats the Park is able to support a large number of species. Over 380 species of birds, some migratory, have been recorded in the Park. Game drives in the park till evening. Dinner and overnight at the Standard Tourist Lodge or Camping/Tents.
Day 02: Start morning game drives in Lake Manyara, after lunch drive to Lake Natron. Arrive for Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Permanent Tented Camp/Lodge - Standard Tourist Lodge or Camping/Tents.
Day 03: Early in the morning you (i) can go to the Lake Natron for Sunrise viewing/observation then come to the Camp for Lunch. After lunch visit waterfalls, in the evening return to the Lake for Sunset observation/viewing.
(ii) Alternative Option is trekking/climbing Oldonyo Lengai Mountain.
In the evening you overnight at the Camp again.
Day 04: After breakfast drive to the Great Serengeti National Park with lunch and game drives en route. Going to Serengeti you pass via Loliondo, Ngorongoro Crater and Lobo. ABC’s Good Morning America & USA Today, a multi-displine panel has named Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park the Site of “The Great Migration” as the Seventh New Wonder of the World on November 2006 17. Serengeti is World Heritage Site and famous for its animal populations such as wildebeests, gazelles, and zebra appear n the greatest numbers and are the ones that migrate from the southern end of the Serengeti National park to north in Lobo and back every year
Serengeti is a home to lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocs and more. There are also lot of birds includes the Eurasia migrants. On arrival in Serengeti get lunch and proceed with game viewing around Seronera or Eastwards, dinner and overnight in the Standard Tourist Lodge or Camping/Tents.
Day 05: Full Day in Serengeti, Then Dinner and overnight at the Standard Tourist Lodge or Camping/Tents.
Day 06: Full day in Serengeti National Park, Breakfast, then half day game
viewing in Lobo area where you will have your hot lunch before you drive back to Seronera the center of Serengeti. Proceed with game viewing around Seronera, Eastern Kopjes and Ndutu. Have dinner and overnight in Standard Tourist Lodge or Camping/Tents.
Day 07: Serengeti –Balloon Safaris and Ngorongoro Crater Rim. (Wake up early at 5.00 am to be ready at 5.30 am for Balloon safaris.
Balloon safaris ends at 9.30 when you get Bush breakfast served with Champagne. Do game drive and lunch at the Lodge. Depart from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim and game viewing enroute to Ngorongoro Crater. NGorongoro Crater is the famous Tourist scene and naturalist site declared a World Heritage Site, Man and Biosphere Reserve, and Eighth Wonder of the World. All the BIG FIVE Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more. Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more. Walking Safaris, trekking from the Crater Rim drive to Olmoti Crater and more.
Hiking to the Crater, walk around, visit Maasai Villages/Bomas, their
activities at Nainokanoka village. When you decide to climb through forest
to the shallow grasy crater, see the beautiful waterfall of the Munge River.
Thereafter drive to Empakai Crater, walk and hike visit Flamingo in the
small lake, continue walking with Armed Ranger Guide, see many wild animals
example giraffe, impala, antelopes, and sometimes you can spot African
hunting dogs. Have dinner and overnight in Standard Tourist Lodge or Camping/Tents.
Day 08: Have half day game drives in Ngorongoro Crater, then lunch and then proceed to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight at Standard Tourist Lodge or Camping/Tents.
Day 09: Wake up early and watch hunting of Bushmen and walk with Bushmen. These are datoga and hadzabe tribes -people who are primitive tribes in Tanzania famously known as Bushmen. Get opportunity to watch Bushmen hunting activity like hunting with arrow and bow. Meals and overnight at Standard Tourist Lodge or Camping/Tents.
Day 10: After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunches, for game drives. Tarangire National Park covers approximately 2600 square kilometers and, in the dry season, is second only to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area in concentrations of wildlife. Tarangire lies to the south of the large, open grass plains of southern Maasailand, and derives its name from the Tarangire River, which provides permanent water for wildlife in the area.The park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, eland and oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rains when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Meals, and overnight at the Standard Tourist Lodge or Camping/Tents.
Day 11: Do full day game drives in Tarangire and overnight at the Standard Tourist Lodge or Camping/Tents.
Day 12: After breakfast, do morning game drives and have lunch at the Lodge. After lunch drive back to Moshi for Mount Kilimanjaro view, meals and overnight.
Day 13: After breakfast, drive to Mkomazi game reserve/national park.
Day 14: After breakfast drive to Tanga Region, arrive for lunch. Then start exploring tourist areas like Amani nature reserve Ecotourism walking safari, bird watching, Amboni Caves, and proceed to Pangani Beach for overnight.
Day 15: After breakfast drive to Saadani National Park for game drives, swimming and fishing, cruising, meals and overnight at Saadani Lodge.
Day 16: After breakfast you can start morning game drives, then have lunch and drive to Dar es salaam. Arrive for City sight seeing tour and overnight at Mediterraneo Beach or Kipepeo Beach.

Day 17: Depart from Dar es Salaam train station at 08.30 for Depart from Dar es Salaam early in the morning for Saadani National Park. This will be a 4 -5 hours drive. Arrival at the lodge will be in time for lunch and overnight at Lodge/Camping/, full board
Day 18: After breakfast depart for a morning game drive returning to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon river boat safari and overnight at Lodge/Camping/, full board
Day 19: Morning game drive and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Lodge/Camping/, full board.
Saadani is Tanzania's only protected coastal wildlife preserve was gazetted in 1964. covers an area of some 250 sq km from the Wami river in the south to the Mligaji river in the north, with the Moshi railway line as the western boundary. Saadani is located in what is historically a very important coastal strip emerging as a an important trading post, appearing on maps from the early 19th century. The village also contains a ruined fort, built by Arab slavers in the last century. This fort later became a German Boma (administrative center) after 1888. There is a further ruin in the village of a mosque built in the mid 19th century. In 2002 Saadani was gazetted to become Tanzania's 13th National Park and it is hoped that the upgrade to National Park status will bring improved infrastructure, access and anti-poaching activities, as well as the reintroduction of various Camp, Full board
Day 20: After breakfast depart for Mikumi National on a drive of 8 hours. Packed lunch will be provided. Overnight at Lodge/Camping/, full board
Day 21 : Morning game drive, and after noon relaxation by the poolside. At 16.00 depart for the later afternoon game drive returning to Lodge/Camping/ for diner,.
MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK is flanked between the Uluguru and Udzungwa Mountains. Mikumi National Park is home to buffalos, giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras and leopards. The park is also famous for its wild dogs and 6m long pythons.
Day 22: Day excision to Udzungwa National park for hiking and swimming in the waterfalls. Overnight a Lodge/Camping/, full board
UDZUNGWA NATIONAL PARK is the newest, opened to the public 1992, and one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in Tanzania. Covering an area of 1900 sq km., the uniqueness of this park lies in its biodiversity in hosting a variety of animals and plant species not found anywhere else in the world. The red Colobus and the Sane crested manbrey, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and sable antelopes are some of the residents in this park. A good range of birdlife is present which includes Rufus winged sunbird, Iringa akalat, Lagden’s bush shrike and Udzungwa partridge. Activities include a hike to the Sanje water falls .
Day 23: Depart in the morning after breakfast for Selous Game Reserve. This will be along drive of 5 hours through some of the most scenic parts of Southern Tanzania. Villages and the Uluguru Mountains dot along the way. You will make a short lunch break by the road side arriving at the Camp by late afternoon. Late afternoon game drive and overnight at Lodge/Camping/, full board
Day 24: Morning walking safari followed by an afternoon game drive. Take the rest of the full day to explore the reserve as the famous explorers did in the yester years. Picnic lunch will be under shady trees with a relaxing visit the hot springs Overnight at Lodge/Camping/, full board
Day 25: Morning game drive followed by an afternoon boats safari. The boat safari brings you close to the aquatic animals and birds. Return to camp late evening in time to freshen up and for dinner. Overnight at Lodge/Camping/, full board.
Selous Game Reserve covering 50,000sq km, this is the largest game reserve in the Africa. The reserve supports an enormous number of elephants, buffalos and wildebeests. Other rare species include the African Hunting dog. The park provides home for some of the last remaining black rhinos.
Day26: Depart after morning drive to Dar es Salaam with packed
lunch en-route.
