People on our trips come from a variety of backgrounds and ages from 18 through to 68. It's the people involved that really make these trips special. You'll be surprised at how many new friendships you will make and the great team spirit and camaraderie formed during the event.

What are the age restrictions on your tours?

All Territories group adventures are designed for travelers of all ages - we seem to have a traveling style that suits all ages - assuming you are fit and healthy - and take travelers from 12 to 80 (12-17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult). The trips work brilliantly, with great group dynamics and social interaction. The majority of travelers are in the 20 to 45 age range. All Territories trekking trips is different - the majority of travelers are in the 20 to 40 age range. There are no upper age limits on our tours; however travelers aged 70 years or older are required to complete a specific medical questionnaire.

I'm a single traveler; will I be charged a single supplement?

Most of our trips do not have a single supplement. This means that the accommodation is on a twin share basis and, if you are traveling on your own, you will be sharing a room with another All Territories adventure traveler of the same sex. Your travel agent or an All Territories Adventure Specialist can provide you with more information on whether a single supplement is optional, mandatory or not available.

Is it possible to make any changes to the itinerary of my group trip?

No. It is not possible to make any changes to our group trip itineraries. Our tour leader will be able to offer you some flexibility upon request.

What is the most appropriate type of luggage to bring?

We strongly recommend bringing a backpack or duffel bag, as suitcases can be cumbersome and difficult to store in buses, under seats, etc.. Keep in mind that you will normally have to carry your own luggage on and off buses and trains and up and down hotel staircases. Suitcases with wheels may not work well on dirt or cobblestone roads.

What will I need to take with me? Do I need any special equipment?

All Territories provide a suggested packing list under 'what to take' in the Trip Dossier on the website. However the specific requirements for your tour will vary widely depending on where and when you are traveling, but apart from a good pair of walking boots, a rain jacket and trousers that zip off into shorts, there is no need to go out and purchase expensive gear. Some of the trips require that you bring along a sleeping bag.

Who leads the trips?

You will be well supported by a very experienced team of an All Territories leader and local guides. They will encourage and motivate you as well as provide a unique insight into the host country; from language through to religion, beliefs and how their history has brought them to where they are today.

What time should I arrive on day 1?

We strongly recommend to our pax to arrive one day before and leave one day after the trip dates, just in case of arrival problems, also to gat the chance to take a local tour. Although on the arrival and departure day there is no planned activity, so you do not have to rush.

Can I opt out of certain activities if I want to?

Yes. In most situations the itineraries provided are flexible so that enable you to build your own holiday. The tour leader may be able to help you make any specific alternative arrangements - please notify us at the time of booking. The only exception to this rule is when we are trekking, or traveling from one place to the next night's stop. Please note anything organized outside of the group activity will be at your own cost.
