Gastronomy tour to Friuli - Kulturális túra itt: Velence, Udine, Celano, Cividale del Friuli - Olaszország

Leírás: Crossing the countryside of the Veneto Orientale we reach the vineyards firstly of the Veneto and then Friuli - famous wine-growing area. We stop at a local dairy to taste the typical Montasio cheese, then head to the hills of Corno di Rosazzo & Cividale to visit a top wine-maker/oenologist and his vineyard. Wine-tasting includes great whites and full-bodies reds, accompanied by local products. A delicious lunch takes place in a tiny 'trattoria' near the Slovenian border with home-made specialities, Schioppettino wine and of course ending the meal with Grappa! In the afternoon we take time to see the old monastery dating back to the 11th century, Monastero dell Rose - so named due to a particular microclimate where roses flower even in the winter !
