If you are not a proficiant rider, our team will be on hand to teach you and introduce you this wonderful experience. Our programs are made according to your riding level and the average daily ride is 4 to 6 hours.

Our horses are arabian barb, the most famous North African horses. In the mountains of Morocco, they are bred a smaller type of barb named ‘spahis”. Its main qualities are his endurance over long distance and his “sure foot” on rocky trails.

With our professional and friendly team, you will be guided and even advised to make your ride even more pleasant.

Day 1: Transfer by land Rover from Marrakech to the Takarkouste Dam. Arrival at Agargour where we meet up with our team of horsemen. Chose your transport & Get to know each other. Then we will load up and start the trek, passing first across the Plateau Kik, where you and your horse can indulge in some testing gallops.

The first night under canvas, will be near to Moulay Brahim. 5 hours of riding is included today.

Day 2: The next morning we trot along towards Isguane where the countryside opens up giving once again suitable terrain for galloping. We pass through Imareghene to Tassa Ouirgane. 4.30 hours of riding included today.

We then head back to our vehicle and transfer back to Marrakech.

Included in the tour is a cook, with his mule. Our cook will present to you a Hearty Moroccan lunch to refresh you halfway through each day and a delicious meal each evening, plus breakfast.

Cancellation policy: All deposits are completely non refundable. Cancellations within 14 days of the service start date are charged 50% of the balance outstanding. Cancellations within 7 days of the service start date are charged at 100% of the outstanding balance. No shows will be charged at 100% of the outstanding balance. In the event of an incident or event which prevents you from joining the tour or travelling, we are happy to work with you to provide you with confirmations for your insurance company. Changes to reservations are possible, without penalty. If the change results in a different total reservation cost, you will be advised of any finanacial changes at that time.

Houssine, Atlas Mountain guide, originally from a Berber area, he worked as a muleteer for a long time with individuals and groups. In 2000 he graduated from the “Royal Moroccan Federation of Skiing of and Mountaineering based in Oukaimeden.

In addition to his experience and knowledge in the Atlas Mountain, this diploma qualified him as a Mountain Guide, able to organize trips of all kinds around the Kingdom of Morocco for walkers & non-walkers.

Houssine aims to introduce his own Berber culture to his customers as an old culture in the North Africa.
