Exploring COSTA RICA !! - Excursion à Guanacaste, Monteverde, Alajuela - Costa Rica, Etats-Unis

Description: Are the sunshine beach and the blue water calling out to you? We have the perfect set up to feed your tired soul. Relax your feet on the velvet sand beach, embrace by the crisp ocean; spend one good week in the renowned Osa Peninsula. Then head up north to get a full flavour of the rest of Costa Rica – the Amazon like canal, the dense forests in the mountain, the most active volcano… Overall, this is a relaxing trip for those with an adventures heart.

1st day

Arrival at Juan Santamaria International Airport.

Transport to your assigned hotel in the area.

2nd day

Your adventure will begin with an overnight trip at Tortuguero! There you will cruise down the Tortuguero Canal on a boat to see a variety of wild life. If in season July/Oct, you have the option of seeing the sea turtles nesting at night on the protected beach ($15 pp). (B / L / D)

3rd day

After breakfast, continue your visit at the Tortuguero National Park, and see more wild life including birds, crocodile, Cayman and monkeys. Return to San Jose in the afternoon. (B / L)

4th day

Departing in the morning with a plane to Sierpe, then catch a boat to Baya Drake, Punta Marenco. Once arrive at Corcovado, lunch will be served at the hotel and you’ll have the entire afternoon free to relax.

5th day

Pull out your beach towel, because in the morning you’ll head to the heart of the paradise - Caño Island. Here is the fabulous stage for scuba diving, snorkeling, or simply pass your time on the beach. (B / L / D)

6th day

After breakfast, visit the second largest virgin rainforest – Corcovado National Park. You’ll have a whole day to discover this savage and unbelievable landscape by boat and by feet. Corcovado National Park has 400 species of birds, 4 species of monkeys, many reptiles and other mammals. (B / L / D)

7th day

The entire day is free for you to relax or revisit some of the beach activities.

You are welcome to take advantage of the hotel’s equipment for snorkelling, kayak and surf, or check out the other activities the hotel has to offer. (B / L / D)

8th day Another free day on the beach. (B / L / D)

9th day After breakfast, depart for Sierpe and then transfer to San Jose by plain, then to Monteverde by shuttle. You will arrive in Monteverde late in the afternoon, just in time to enjoy a Costa Rican flavor hearty dinner. (B)

10th day Promptly after breakfast, visit the magnificent San Luis Waterfall the old fashion way – on Horse! Or you may choose an alternative activity of visiting Santa Elena Cloudforest with a naturalist guide, and learn every plants and animals you encounter. In the afternoon, experience the wonderful tour of El Trapiche – Costa Rican’s traditional way of making sweets, processing coffee beans and ‘moon shine’. (B)

11th day Put on the helmet, and lock on the harness, you are going to start the morning with high adrenaline – by zipping through the sky! This is the best canopy tour in Costa Rica, because you got cloud forest as your platform, and absolute safety measure. This canopy tour also includes a fun rappel and ‘Tarzan Swing’. At noon you will return to the hotel and depart for La Fortuna, Arenal with van-boat-van transportaion.

Arriving La Fortuna early evening, you may wish to sooth your tire muscles at the Tabacon Hot Spring (optional) for a relaxing evening. (B)

12th day

After breakfast, spend the day visit Celestial Rio, which is considered a nature phenomenon for its blue color. The river is surrounded by an unbelievable landscape, bringing you to an unimaginable world. (B)

13th day

Sleep in or cruise around the town, spend the morning however you heart desire. Early afternoon you will be picked up and return to San Jose. (B)

14th day

A whole day for you to explore the San Jose markets, browse the museums, theaters, or a field trip to the near by city Cartago. (B)

15th day

Pack up your bags, souvenirs, and all the memories of the past 14 days in Costa Rica. And we hope you a safe journey home. Pura Vida! (B)
