It is the longest and moderately difficult trek in Annapurna area. It starts from Besisahar and ends at Pokhara, a beautiful valley with many lakes and a view of many mountains of the region. Itinerary 01-Day- Arrivals in Kathmandu and Tensfer to Acme Guesthouse. 02 Day- At Kathmandu 03-Day- Drive to Besisahar (7 hrs drive by comfortable Mini coach, the bus leaves at 7 m) and stay overnight there 04-Day- Trek to Bhahun Danda (1320m.) 05-Day- Trek to Jagat (1430m.) 06-Day- Trek to Bagarchhap (2170m.) 07-Day- Trek to Chame (2730m.) 08-Day- Trek to Pisang (3200m). 09-Day- Trek to Manang 3500m (From Pisang there are two trails leading to Manang, The one through Gyaru 4680m offers fantastic view of Annapurna 2, Annapurna 3, and Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, Gyaru and Ngawal village and in turn it is a bit difficult rather than another. 10-Day- Rest day at Manang for acclimatization. Meanwhile exploring Gangapurna Lake, Glacier and Monastery is worth. 11-Day- Trek to Yak Kharka (4070m.) 12-Day- Trek to Throng Phedi (4500m). 13-Day- Trek to Muktinath over Throng-La pass (5416m.) It requires to start early morning as it gets windy and cold in afternoon. 14-Day- Trek to Kagbeni 2900m, it is about 3 hours walk downhill. 15-Day- Trek to Marpha 2660m, this is admirable Thakali village which is known as APPLE CAPITAL, here you can have one of the best Apple crumble and Apple Brandy. 16-Day- Trek to Ghasa (2070m). 17-Day- Trek to Tatopani 1180 (Hot spring), 18-Day- Rest day. It is a good day off to enjoy hot spring after the long journey. 19-Day- Trek to Shikha (1970m) , the trail climbs after crossing Kaligandaki river, it is steep uphill for two hour then it gets bit easier. 20-Day- Trek to Ghorepani (2870m). It is very short trip (3 hrs), energetic ones make it to Ghorepani from Tatopani the same day. 21-Day- Early morning walk up to Poonhill,(takes an hour), for Sunrise and Mountain view from where more than 30 peaks are visible at once including Annapurna ( 8091m) and Dhalagiri (8167m) and back to teahouse, have a breakfast, take a rest for while and trek down to Ulleri. 22-Day- Trek down to Nayappool, catch Cab and drive back to Pokhara. 23-Day- Drive back to Kathmandu by Tourist coach. 24 Days Departure Transfer.

What is the best time for this trek?

- September, October, November, March, April,May are considered to be the best time for this trek though this trek can be done around the year unless there is massive storm and snowfall blocks the Thorang la pass.
