A 5 day 4 night Trek in the Mgoun area of the High Atlas Mountains. Departures: Marrakech Availability: May until End October. Itinerary: Day 1 07.30 transfer by road from your riad in marrakech to the remote Ait Bougmez Valley in the High Atlas (about 4.5 hours drive with picnic lunch en-route). Overnight at guest house near Imelghas Village (1,800 m) . Day 2 - about 6 hours walking Cross the Ait Bougmez Valley towards Agouti village and then down to the Ait Bouli Valley. Continue along the Lakhdar Valley and camp overnight inAbachkou (1,600 m). Day 3 - about 7 hours walking We start our walk again to Continue to n' Rougoult village and then climb a narrow path to the small village of Ifri n' Ait Kherfalla. Overnight camp at the Ifri (2,500 m). Day 4 - about 5 hours walking Continue on through a pass (3,000 m) climbing and descending to the Arous Valley. Overnight camp near Ikkis summer shelters for shepherds (2,200 m). Later in the afternoon visit the Arous Gorges. Day 5 We Walk back to the Bougmez Valley where you will be met by our driver and vehicle near the village of Tirouza for the return drive to your riad in marrakech with lunch en-route. Arrive marrakech about 5h30 p.m. Whats included: Official, experienced and qualified Mountain guide. Mules and Muelteers for your luggage. Day 1

INFORMACIÓ SOBRE L'OPERADOR

Houssine, Atlas Mountain guide, originally from a Berber area, he worked as a muleteer for a long time with individuals and groups. In 2000 he graduated from the “Royal Moroccan Federation of Skiing of and Mountaineering based in Oukaimeden.

In addition to his experience and knowledge in the Atlas Mountain, this diploma qualified him as a Mountain Guide, able to organize trips of all kinds around the Kingdom of Morocco for walkers & non-walkers.

Houssine aims to introduce his own Berber culture to his customers as an old culture in the North Africa.

The large diversity of his products will satisfy travellers in spite of their different tastes and interests.
