Amman & Petra - Visita cultural en Petra, Amman - Jordania

Descripció: Day 1: Arrival Amman

Upon arrival at Amman International Airport you will be meet by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Amman, where the rest of the day is free.

Day 2: Amman City Tour - Petra

After breakfast you discover Jordan's capital Amman by a city tour. First you drive up to the Citadel to have a wonderful view over the white city, see the remains of the Roman, Byzantine and Islamic period. Here also located is the Jordan Archaeological Museum with interesting artefacts. Then you visit the Amphitheater from the second century and the King Abdullah Mosque. Then you drive via the Desert Highway (230 km) to Petra for overnight.

Day 3: Petra

Today you can visit the rose red rock city Petra, established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, and now one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. You start the trip on horse back of to the Siq, the narrow canyon, and then walk 1.2 km till you reach the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, Pharaoh's Castle, the Amphitheater and the Monastery El Deir. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4: Petra – Amman

You drive back to Amman Airport to say farewell and board your international flight.
